Our 2025 Easter Egg Hunt at the Vienna Township Bicentennial Park was one for the books! Despite the chill in the air, families
bundled up, kids came ready with baskets in hand, and the spirit of community was stronger than ever.
We’d like to start by thanking our amazing vendors and guests!
Smokey’s Patty-Wagon, Kip’s Tacos, and 3 Kids Food Truck—you completely spoiled us. The ingredients were fresh, the portions generous, and let’s talk about those donuts—perfect for the little ones! Thank you for trusting Vienna to show up and support small business.
A special thank you to Harold Stein of High 5 Foam Parties, who created the cutest bunny balloon sculptures for the kids. While we had to move his table indoors due to the cold, our amazing Mathews student volunteers helped bring balloons out to the kids. Harold brings magic to every event—whether it’s foam parties, costumes, or balloons—and we’re lucky to have him. https://www.high5foamparties.com/?fbclid=IwY2xjawJrMyxleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHs5yoXh-motOUHC3i92225g6e-r7nG969sFVkxgM8wakkPD097l01AOU2G42_aem_QDfDVTTOjI4kgTsymUyExA
To Leanne Lee, our talented event photographer, thank you for beautifully capturing the day. Leanne is a Mathews alum with an incredible eye and a true passion for storytelling through her lens. You can view her Easter gallery here:📸 Easter Photos📷 More from Leanne

We’re also incredibly proud of the Mathews Local K–5 students who entered our Easter coloring contest. Their artwork was on display throughout the event and brought even more color and joy to the day. A heartfelt thank you to the Vienna Township Trustees—Chairman Phil Pegg, Vice-Chairman Mike Haddle, and Trustee Richie Dascenzo—for your continued support of community events like this. And to the Vienna Presbyterian Church, we are beyond grateful. As the oldest church in Vienna and current leaseholder of the park, your partnership allows VCAC to keep these traditions alive. Thank you for trusting us with the space and welcoming us into your home. We’d also like to thank the Vienna United Methodist Church for allowing guests to use your parking lot—truly appreciated! A big shoutout to Chief Birch (Vienna Volunteer Fire Department) and Chief Darbey (Vienna Police Department) for keeping everyone safe. Chief Birch made sure food trucks were up to code, and both departments were present to ensure the event went smoothly.
As always, we invited local leaders and committees to set up tables and share information with the community:
Vienna Fire Levy Committee (Contact: Chief Gus Birch – 330-394-1218)
Mathews (Baker) Playground Project (Contact: Beth Haddle – beth.haddle@mathewslocal.org)
Vienna Clean-Up Day: May 10 (Contact: Mike Haddle – mhaddle@viennatownship.com or the Road Dept: 330-856-4014)
To our volunteers—thank you. From little ones helping pick up sticks to teens running prizes and adults handling set-up, tear-down, and everything in between—you are the reason these events happen. Our growing partnership with Mathews Local Schools has been a huge blessing. Watching students get involved in community service, step into leadership roles, and show pride in where they’re from gives us so much hope for the future.
We are Vienna Township.Thank you for showing up, for cheering each other on, and for keeping our traditions strong.
