Coming soon: The 21st Annual Chili Cook-Off

The Vienna Community Action Committee (V.C.A.C.) is officially on the hunt for the next Chili Cook-Off Champion!

This year marks the 21st annual competition, and over the years, more than 21 sizzling chili masters have earned the crown. Could this be your year to take the title?

We’re turning up the heat with three official categories:

• Mild

• Medium

• Hot
  

The highest score across the board will also claim the coveted “Overall Champion” title.

All chili styles are welcome! Whether it’s ground beef, chicken, venison, vegetarian, or a one-of-a-kind family recipe. Past competitors have impressed with:

• Smoked chili

• Chili con carne

• Cincinnati-style

• Oklahoma-style

• Chili Verde

• White chili

• And many unique “football game” favorites

Last year’s event was our most flavorful yet, with guests raving it was the best chili they’d tasted in years. We’re proud to continue the tradition of having active and veteran military personnel serve as our official judges, so bring your best recipe and your A-game.
